How Exactly Does One "Forget"?

Pride and Prejudice
Pretty much everywhere I turn I'm encountering reminders to vote... People are posting Facebook status updates with reminders, official emails from work and FAU are telling me, "Don't forget to vote!" While I'm happy that everyone seems to be really passionate about the election this year (because they should be), I'd like to know how exactly someone would "forget" to vote... I'm pretty sure that anyone who is over the age of ten and hasn't been in a coma for the past few months would know that Tuesday is Election Day. Is it possible that there will be people who, come Tuesday night, will suddenly think, "Oh, crap. I forgot to vote"? Maybe this happens with every election and I'm just noticing it because it's my first as a citizen or maybe because this is a significant and historic election so everyone is more concerned about voting but I'm finding the idea of "reminders" a little humorous...

Hmmm....

Pride and Prejudice
I'm so ridiculously tired at the moment that I can't even summon the energy for the drive home! How sad is that?!?!?
The stress associated with teaching has definitely improved since switching classes but the down side is that I'm teaching five totally different courses, requiring five totally different preps. On top of the two classes I'm taking!!! It's a lot more work but I think it's worth it especially since my new class is 1/3 the size of the old one not to mention 1/3 the hassle!
I love the Sensation Novel course with Buckton but the French class is such a drag. The prof is nice but it's just a horrible time (right in the middle of the day, requiring me to leave work and then go back) and it's hard to get excited about a pass/fail class that's just going to fulfil a requirement rather than actually provide a ton of useful information. On the other hand, I'm hopeful that the Sensation Novel course will give me some thesis inspiration...fingers crossed. It's time to get this M.A. thing over with!!!
Kelly and I are toying with the idea of going up to GA again over Spring Break. I'd love to go to VA to visit my brother but we'd have to stay in a hotel (since he's still living on the Naval base) and that's $$$ we want to save for a possible trip to England over the summer. I really want to explore Atlanta some more and maybe even check out some houses, just to give us an idea of what areas we'd be interested in. Plus, we want to look at some of the colleges there (UGA, GSU, and Emory) for potential religion studies M.A. programs for Kelly and possibly, possibly Ph.D. programs for me.... Did I mention possibly?
We might be going to Daytona next weekend for the Bud Shootout on the 9th. I have a paper due the Wednesday afterwards so it will depend on how much I get done. I actually really want to go (!!!) because I had so much fun in Daytona last summer...we'll see though. I don't think I'll be sunbathing while we tailgate this time though!
Anyway...going to go home now... Got to get ready for the return of Lost tonight...yay! :-)

Which Lost Character Am I?

Lost; Lord of the Flies

This would be cooler if I hadn't just finished watching the entire third season on DVD, including the last episode!!! (And even though I knew that was coming, it still annoyed me....)
